A Cozy Weeknight Dinner

The winter nights have been cold, sometimes snowy and often rainy. Although spring should be arriving in a few weeks, it is still comforting to have a warm and cozy candlelight dinner at home. Maybe a pot of stew and some hot biscuits, or a bowl of home made chicken noodle soup and a salad. A warm and inviting table shared with family on a cold evening. Come join me and others at Susan's Tablescape Thursday at her lovely blog, Between Naps on the Porch.

  3. Now that looks very inviting. I bet it smells good too!

Do you have an ash tree at your cottage? I have to ask because we have a huge 50-60 year Modesto Ash tree in our back yard. It shades pretty much the entire yard.

I hope to be back soon to see what else is happening at Ash Tree Cottage!

    Yours,
    Janelle

  5. This looks so warm and inviting. I like your quilt on the table set with the blue transferware! That's the type of table you want to sit at for hours, after the meal, and just visit with your family and friends. I love it!
