Beauty of Nature

We may decorate our houses as much as we like
but we can't compete with the beauty of nature!
Some salmon pinks growing on the fence outside
my cottage.

And ...

The beautiful pink blossoms on my Mom's plum tree.

My prayers go out to those in the Southeastern States
who have lost loved ones and property.

Please stop by and visit
and

Oh Bentley ~ your Momma loves you!

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  4. Hi Susan Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share today. That tree is SO beautiful. I love the color of the plum tree, and what a magnificent display of beauty.

Oh yes, prayers being sent up for all. So much loss of property and family. Unbelievable. I have read these are some of the worst tornadoes in years.

Many hugs sweetie and SO much love, Sherry

Give a big hug to Bentley and tell him Aunt Sherry says hello. Love that little guy.

  12. Susan,
Your pictures are beautiful. Love the colors. Thank you for the prayers for the people in the Southeast. We were safe at our house but just about 20 miles away a very big pine tree fell on my son's house. His family was not hurt and I thank God for that. Their house can be repaired or replaced but a life can't.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend and give Bentley a big hug.

  18. Susan thank you so much for stopping by and following my blog - I'm now really enjoying discovering more of yours! How cute is Bentley?!

I absolutely love the blossoms you've captured, it's such a lovely certainty each year - when they come into bud and you know it'll be mere days until the whole tree blooms :-)

  24. Hi, Happy Pink Saturday. It's so good of you to think of those who are in need or distress now. The storms are truly horrible. Our thoughts are with the victims.

Those pinks in your yard are sweet! I think the first pinks you show, on the fence, are quince, or chaenomeles x superba. They may bear fruits that look like apples. They aren't sweet like apples, though they can be used in marmalades and things like that.

Hope the weather remains calm for your weekend.

  32. Susan, I just love your nostalgic header! The pink blooms are beautiful. I am saying prayers for all of those (and there are so many) who were affected by the recent storms, and also praying that we won't experience even more destruction, injury, and death in flooding.
