Vintage Tole Trays

I love tole trays and seek them out at thrift and antique
shops. The text on this one reads ~
"He Who Gardens Shall Never Starve"

I found this one while visiting some lovely antique
shops in New Hampshire. It's one of my favorites!

This is a recent acquisition. I am giving it to my Mom
and we are going to use it as the top for a tray table in
her solarium. I'll post the pics when we are finished.

So what do you like to collect?

I am joining some fun parties ~

and

Yes Bentley ~ I know you have quite a big
collection of toys! Maybe we'll show them soon.

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  6. What beautiful tole treasures. These are so pricey & good conditioned ones are hard to find. Love the white one, will look forward to see what you & Mother do with it.

  17. I started collecting tole trays about 20 years ago and now have a collection of about 15 or so...I am trying to figure out a way to display them so that they don't overpower my white, grey and pastel color palette in the house. Most of my trays are black...any ideas?
