Fall in the Ash Tree Cottage Garden

Seemingly just overnight the leaves on my walnut trees started to turn yellow.
They are always the first of our many trees to turn.  The ash tree out back
will be next.

I love the way the brightly colored leaves play off the deep greens and all
the white wicker around the cottage.

Everything suddenly becomes so warm and welcoming when you walk
through the front gate on a cool crisp fall day.

The leaves on the wet steps seem to say ~ follow the path and come inside
for a hot cup of tea.  Bentley will be here to greet you. We so enjoy
your visits!

  3. I love seeing all the colors change. I grew up with Walnut trees in the pacific west but don't remember them changing colors. We have an ash that is beautiful-but your colors are glorious.
    Have a great day.

  14. Wow, that yellow mum is gorgeous. Today is a very crisp, damp day so a bit of tea would hit the spot.
