Romancing the Thanksgiving Table

If you long to set your Thanksgiving table in a very romantic, shabby chic
style, then head to your local thrift, consignment and antique shops.

Your will find the most charming of platters and pitchers.

Dessert plates and little sauce dishes.

Sweet and stylish stemware of all sizes and shapes.

Amazingly pretty but inexpensive silver serving pieces.

And wonderful serving dishes too.  Such soft and pretty patterns that
somehow all work together ~ so don't be afraid to mix and match.

  21. Susan your finds are sooo pretty and would look beautiful for a shabby chic Thanksgiving - what fun! I WISH we had as good thrift stores in my area...Let me tell you, something like what you are showing would be a once in a blue moon find around these parts. But I will admit I've found some pretty things over the years...so I'll just keep looking.

Thank you for the inspiration, and enjoy a stylish pink Saturday,
    Marianne

  30. I love your china! I mix 2 sets for my table ~ my wedding china from 1993 and my platinum trim antique American Limoges. And for dessert it is a bunch of mismatched bone china teacup saucers that have long ago lost their teacups. I love mismatching, it is soooo charming.
