Egg Cups

I love egg cups.  I only have a few of them.

I hope to find some more.  They are such a sweet and gentle way to start
the day.

I know that there are new ones, but I think the vintage ones are
the sweetest of all.

The snow is starting to fall here.  We may actually be getting the big
snowfall they predicted for today.  I hope we get snowed in so that I can
read blogs all day!

Bentley ~ Momma will have to shovel a path for you!

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  2. Sweet! I have two - one belonged to grandpa and is very vintage - 1930's-'40's - and the other is the Moss Rose pattern. I've always thought to make myself a two minute egg in it sometime - then - opt for the fry pan . . .

    Joy!

  5. Ok, aren't these tricky to use? You need to show us how---I guess you would't use it for a hardboiled egg would you?

  6. I am starting to succumb to the charm of vintage egg cups too. Since we like to eat eggs for breakfast, I am looking forward to learning how to cook eggs for them. I just need a few more!

  11. I love egg cups too, Susan. This year I bought some plain white ones at Home Goods, and just bought 4 coddlers (the ones with the lids) at an auction, just because I like them. Yours is beautiful; I'm going to keep an eye out for vintatage ones now! Went to follow you--already a follower! :) ~Zuni

  17. I think vintage egg cups are terrific, too! I just found a pair of white ironstone egg cups while thrifting last week. I was thrilled because they were ONLY 49 cents each!
