My Feet Are Doing A Happy Dance!

I have been thinking about adding a skirt under my kitchen sink.
I pinned this to my Cottage Kitchen Board on Pinterest.  If you are
not already following me, check out my boards because I am always
pinning away.

Anyway ~
On Monday I went to one of our local thrift shops looking for a
Featherweight sewing machine because my friend has found two
of them there.  She is very lucky!

I did not find a Featherweight, but I did find this ~

it's Waverly window pane fabric in red!  Love it and I think it will make
such a cute skirt.

It coordinates with some Frenchy pillows I brought home from a
consignment shop.  I plan to use them on a Deacon's bench.

So that's it chickies.  I am doing a happy dance!!

Joining

Bentley had a nice long visit with our postman today.  Bentley
and the postman are great pals and Bentley is always so happy
to see him.  Aren't you sweet pea?

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  2. Very Pretty Susan,
I have a HUGE Copper Farm sink(it was hand made for us and It's HUGE) with curtains under it! I also have open cabinets(at the moment)...All will change in the near future. I WILL keep the copper farm sink(LOVE IT) but the curtains MAY GO. Right now it's so easy to change them, You can use dishtowels and just hem them...
    LOVE your little chickie!
    Have a fun week,
    Big Hugs,
    Donna

  4. Hi Susan: I think you stole my new kitchen (if it ever gets done)! Do you have a farmhouse sink? I love that curtain and have been toying with the idea, and now, I think I just might go for it. I don't have a farmhouse sink, but I think it would be fun anyway. I love your red pillows, little chicken and your new fabric. I can't wait to see what you come up with..Hugs to Bentley..Happy Tuesday..Judy

  11. Hmmm, I am lovin' that skirt. I took the doors off of my bathroom cabinet and I am thinking strong thoughts about adding a skirt instead of putting the doors back on. You may have convinced me.
