Tweaking My Vintage Tool Box

This vintage tool box was filled with bunnies and colored eggs last Easter.

And it was filled with flowers, a trowel and seed packs this past
summer.

And now it's been tweaked for fall.

I am joining Brenda for ~

Tweak It Tuesday
Wow Us Wednesday

Bentley is feeling a little bit under the weather today and
does not want to leave my side.  His tummy is a little bit upset,
so he is getting lots of loving.  I think he is starting to feel better
though because he wanted to chase the broom when I went to sweep
the kitchen floor.

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  1. Looks so pretty and fallish. Isn't it nice to have something like that that you can use year round and just change up a little?

  3. I hope Bentley feels better soon. I love your Fall pretties. We have some big tall pines close by. I'll have to remember to pick up some pine cones soon!

  5. I absolutely love that tool box. I love the way you decorate it for all the seasons. How fun !
Hope Bentley feels better. Did he eat something that upset his tummy? You can give him a little pepto bismal. My vet recommended that for Mindy. Quarter of a teaspoon.

  6. You've inspired me to use my "tool box", (it's really a planter, but looks like a toolbox). I'm filling it up for fall too! Thanks!

  20. Looks lovely! I have a toolbox thing like that and the last few years it's held little toys of my grandsons. So THIS year I reclaimed it. I filled it with some dried hydrangeas and placed it on the top of my piano. ( Just a week or so ago ) Grandson was over the other day looking all over for his "shed" ....Finally I figured out that he meant "tool shed " When I showed him what I did with it he was very put out!! LOL! He just turned three so he was not really understanding how it was originally for decor and not toys....
