My Latest Craft Project

I have owned this little wooden box for a long time.  I thought it would be
just the thing to store some quilting squares I am piecing for my newest
quilt.  So while we were watching all of the pre-game shows for
the Super Bowl, I decided to paint it.

I painted the lid to look like a quilt.

Here is a bit of my pre-cut stash.

Happy springlike colors.  Too bad it's so very dark today
and taking a good pic is next to impossible.

Happily Joining ~

Bentley ~ where are you hiding?  Don't you want to have
a bath tonight?  Of course he does not, but he really, really
needs one!

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  1. well, since it is going to hold quilting squares...that is very very cool to paint the lid like a quilt.

  6. That's very pretty. I like it. We never tell Kane it is time for a bath or he would hide. We just scoop him up and put him the tub. It's always a surprise but within a few minutes he is lovin' it. Sometimes he almost falls asleep standing up.
