Glam Up an Inexpensive Cache Pot

Last year I bought two topiaries to put on either side of the server in
my dining room.  I wasn't crazy about the little cachepots that came with
them.  I looked around for others, but didn't find any that I liked that were
not super expensive.   So I took another look at them and thought ~
I could do something with them to glam them up a bit.

So I went into my paint box and grabbed a celery green craft paint and painted
the whole cachepot a muted green.  Then I took some gold craft paint and
highlighted the feet, the edge and the bas relief on the body.

Now they are lightened up and glammed up too with just a little bit
of paint and an hour or so.

Here is the before ….

And here is the after.  Easy peasy and done for pennies.

Now I am off to recover two seat cushions in the dining room too.

Bentley and I are doing only inside projects these days.  It is too
darn hot outside to do anything!  Hope it's cooler where you are.

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
