I love miniature cottages just as much as full sized ones.
Until I get my dollhouse all put together, I create mini vignettes inside
hutches and on bookshelves.
I made this mini bed. Notice how a miniature Bentley keeps popping up
in these rooms.
I made this miniature wing back chair too.
A miniature cottage Christmas vignette.
Sewing in miniature.
A very vintage miniature tin kitchen cabinet found at a
tag sale.
My 1920's style kitchen sink. I'm thinking about a skirt for it.
Here is the dollhouse still in it's box. Oh well, one day when I have
some free time this will finally get constructed!

Hi Susan, thanks for visiting me at Hollyhock Cottage. I can see hours of wonderful browsing slipping by on here and I am already inspired by (of all things) your folding table ironing board!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful miniatures--I loved them as a child and keep meaning to get back into them as an adult! Thank you for the inspiration :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Susan! Those miniature vignettes are darling! And so is that mini Bentley! You do a great job on making the furniture. I've adored miniatures ever since I was a child. I have a doll house that I bought for my daughter when she was young but now she is 13 and "too old" for it so it went into hiding in the back of her closet. I will be getting it out sometime soon and show it on my blog. Thanks for inspiring me to do so! Hugs, Gina
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! These are awesome! I used to have miniatures when I was younger but over the years it kind of fell away. I still have about a dozen pieces tucked here and there and every once in awhile my husband will be like "why is there a tiny lamp on this shelf?" lol I just can't part with some of my favorites.
