Under The Weather

I woke up this morning with "no voice". I have been trying to avoid catching what everyone else seems to have. I'm trying the tea, vitamin C and Aspirin remedy. It is now 10:30 am, I need to feel better by 1:00 pm. What do you think Bentley, will I make the deadline? Bentley doesn't know.

  3. I'm still holding on with no sickness this season yet. Hope I didn't just jinx myself! Feel better by your deadline, or soon thereafter.

  4. Sorry to hear you are poorly, doubt if you'll make that 1PM deadline.
My granddaughter is suffering from Strep right now, the doctor's office was full of it ;(
Love your blue willow cup and saucer, is it an old one, it looks vintage ?
    Take care, friend.

  5. Thanks for the visit, your blog is delightful! Sure hope you feel better soon. My cure all and I haven't been sick all winter, is taking one spoon of local honey with one spoon of cinnamon, make a paste and eat it on toast! Really works and is good too!

  7. So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Thanks for popping in at Maggie's secret garden. Love your blog...especially the Beatrix Potter quote. Your cottage kitchen has all the right cookbooks. Love Julia Child's. Bentley is a sweetie.

Well..hope you'll be on the mend soon. I'll be popping in on you again soon.

    Get well soon,

  9. I hope this day finds YOU feeling lots better! I'm sure little Bentley has tried his best to comfort you! It took me nearly two weeks to get rid of the "crud" I had. I hadn't been really, really sick for years.

Anyway, I love your previous post...your kitchen looks so cozy. That only comes from its age and your wonderful decorating!

    Get well!!! Dana

  10. Are you feeling better?? I SO hope so. Take care of yourself please... rest and rest and rest.

Today I feel as though I will live - yesterday, not so much. ;-) Still am pretty sick though. I am about a week into it and I've heard it takes about 3 to feel good as new again.

I'm sending you lots of love from me to you.

    Love,
    Kim
