When I saw the title for Sue's Rednesday I knew that this was the perfect time to show off my little red bird. I found it in an antique shop several years ago and instantly fell in love with it. It just looked so darling that I knew I would have to bring it home. I have something else to show you too. It's a tole painted "silent butler". I found this at a thrift shop and just could not resist.
Thanks for stopping by our cottage today. Sue always hosts a great Rednesday so please stop by and see her reds too at It's a Very Cherry World.
Love,
Susan and Bentley

Hi Susan and Bentley,
ReplyDeleteI love your little red bird, but I like the silent butler best of all. Now what exactly was a silent butler used for? I know somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind I knew this at one time or another, but I just can't recall.
Happy Rednesday!
Janelle
I know, I know! It's a crumb catcher! Susan, you picked just the right word for the red bird - darling, it is!
ReplyDeleteYour little red bird is so pretty as is your crumb catcher. Anything tole painted is on my list of things I love to find..
