Bitterman
In Loving Memory
1988 ~ 1997
Our sweet little guy and my very first Yorkie was born on April 23, 1988. He held a very special place in our hearts. Happy Birthday dear Bitterman! This sweet little guy was in front of the Pastor with us when my husband and I were married in 1989. He went everywhere with us and was always a perfect little gentleman. He was so cute and so well behaved that the flight attendants used to let us take him out of his carrier and let him sit on my lap when we were in the air. In one year he logged over 10,000 miles, but alas no frequent flier miles were allowed for dogs. In honor of his birthday, Bitterman is my Show and Tell for this Friday. Thank you Cindy for a chance to show off my sweet little guy. Please visit Cindy at her blog, My Romantic Home and all of the other Show and Tell Participants as well.
Love,
Susan and Bentley

ReplyDeleteThis is so sad...it's always so difficult to lose a fur baby. Our kitty, I have a faux headstone for her...she lived with us for 25 years...this is a remarkable little fellow...he was the highlight of your days I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI've been a domestic goddess this week ...making new SOUTHWEST CURTAIN TIE-BACKS Stop by for a visit and viewing if you can find time! Have a great weekend.
Oh what an adorable little pup. You must miss him, it's so hard to lose a pet. I still get teary about my 18 yr old cat who died 6 years ago. They are very special friends, aren't they.
ReplyDeleteIt was sweet of you to share stories of your little Bitterman with us.

ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet, sweet boy. I love his name. He was certainly blessed to have someone care and love him the way that you did ...and still do.
ReplyDeleteYour Bentley is such a cutie!
You have a beautiful blog. Thank you for letting me visit. I will be back.
Hi Susan, What a cute post today for a family friend. I also have a picture of Tallulah the first. In an old frame. I had her for 12 years and she was a birthday gift. She came to me in a shoe box but she was in there for 8 minutes. She was hiding in the garage before they had given her to me. My birthday was the 18. Have a great weekend...Julian
ReplyDeleteWhat a little sweetheart Susan. I've always had pets, but dogs are my absolute favourites and we love our labrador Darcy to pieces. When I was younger I had a little yorkie cross called Bonnie and she was gorgeous. It's so hard when they pass away, but we have our memories forever. How lucky for your little man to have found you, he was obviously very well loved, as is your sweet little Bentley. Thanks for sharing, and have a great day. Kerri xx
ReplyDeleteOh, Susan, what a sweet, precious little thing. I know how doggies are our children to us. You can bet he's in doggy heaven, because all dogs go to heaven, you know. I just realized that I didn't join as a follower, yet I'm always looking at your blog. Well I took care of that. I hope it's okay.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan!
ReplyDeletePets hold such a special place in our hearts that when they go it is so hard. Enjoy your memories of Bitterman!
