Cottage Love

I know that there are those who love McMansions, but I just love a cottage. Sweet and cozy, it's my style. Stop by Cindy's for Show and Tell Friday and learn about what other bloggers love.

Bentley loves our neighborhood. He was born in a very cute cottage just one block away. I would ask him to tell you all about his neighborhood, but he's outside chasing squirrels. How about a tour on Sunday??

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  3. Our old house is very small...lots of rooms but very small. The only time I get frustrated is when something goes, I have a plumbing problem right now. Ugh! But I prefer this over cavernous rooms any day.

Can't wait to see your neighborhood, Susan. Stay cool this weekend!

    Regards to Bentley!

  4. I love cottages too, especially our little cottage! Every time I see a huge house, my first thought is: Who cleans all that? Give me a little cottage that I can keep semi-tidy any day!

  5. What a cute bread box! I love cottages too, so much so in fact, that our home may look like a ranch house on the outside, but you would swear you had just walked into a cottage once you walk through the front door.

  6. Susan, thank you for your visit and deciding to follow me. I ran to read your blog and, my goodness, we have several things in common... our love of cottages, Mary Engelbreit, love for our husbands... and a love for our "daddies"... which I love seeing your refer to him as "Daddy". Me too! For me I guess it is a West Texas thing. And I am assuming a recent passing of your father. I am truly sorry for that and sad to say that I know exactly how you feel.
Well, I've joined your blog and look forward to the adventures of Susan and Bentley!
    Have a great weekend.

  8. Whil I'm not lucky enough to live in an actual cute cottage, I live in a small house that I love. I think smaller houses have a personality all their own.

    Yes- I hate cleaning too!

  9. Hi!

I'm familiar with your name from other blogs I follow, and just discovered that you are a blogger, too!

Just took a quick tour and know that I have found another kindred spirit because I love what I saw.

There is something so special about a cozy cottage filled with love.

  10. McMansions can't hold a candle to a cute cottage! Chasing rodents is an Olympic sport in most cottage homes, lucky dog!
