A Favorite Cabinet

This is a favorite cabinet of mine. It's a cabinet that I use to store some of my spices. I purchased it in Virginia the first year that David and I were married. It used to be stained a medium walnut, but I decided to paint it heirloom white. I love the wire in the door.

Thanks for visiting me today. Be sure to stop by and visit Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Table Top Tuesday. I think that Marty stopped by Goodwill again and picked up some great items. See you there!! I am also joining Patricia at Colours Dekor for August Table Tops. Be sure to visit her too!!

Bentley ~ I found one of your little stuffed bears behind the butcher block. Were you missing it??

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  5. Hi came here via Colours Dekor! Love that cabinet, looks like the pie safes from days gone by...where they used to cool the freshly baked pies and keep them out of reach....! Lovely color too!

  10. Oh Susan I love little cabinets also and I especially adore the ones that fit into a corner. The one you have is lovely and the wire in the front definitely gives it a little something extra special....

  11. Susan,
It amazes me how we thing alike, sometimes. I have a smaller version of cabinet, very much like yours, that I have kept my spices in for years! Mine still has the stain and I bought it years ago in Nashville, IN. I will have to feature it sometime. I think I see some cinnamon sugar on the top shelf. Tell Bentley I will be over later for some cinnamon toast and coffee :)

  17. Susan, that cabinet is so cute, and not only that, it holds a lot of spices on those shelves. How nice that the shelves are shallow enough that the spices don't get lost in the back. laurie
