These figurines belonged to my Grandmother. They are not important pieces, but to me they are treasures because Grandma loved them!
Be sure to visit Beverly for her Pink Saturday to see what other pink things bloggers love!!
Pink dog bones? I don't think so Bentley!!

Lovely, but I'll bet you've got them instead of someone from a thrift store, sweets.

One time recently I was wearing a pearl necklace that had been my grandmother's. A very knowledgeable person said to me "those aren't real pearls." You know what, I knew that...and I could care less. Like your figurines, they belonged to someone I loved, and that's what makes them special...not their importance or their value.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend,

It's wonderful to be able to look at something and it remind you of someone special-Happy PS!

Very pretty figurines!! My mother once cared for an elderly man that lived in the same house that his parents lived in.. it was so old there was still a stage coach stop in front. He had these figurines through out the house and I remember laying on the floor looking up at them and wondering what type of ball they were going to and what the music sounded like that they danced to.... love your post! brings back good memories..
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful weekend!

Our treasured things sure don't have to have financial worth. That's in the eye of the beholder.
