We have been having some very lovely weather here in Idaho. Our evenings are especially lovely. So tonight we are having a romantic dinner on the deck.
We are dining on vintage Limoges soup bowls and plates in the palest of pink patterns.
Enjoying some ice water and a bit of wine from vintage stemware.
Thank you for visiting us. I am linking to:

Susan, it's all just lovely!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the vintage touches, and the soft and elegant colors and patterns. Beautiful!
Besides, you've reminded me that I have (similar) Limoges plates and have never used them in a Tablescape.
Hmm... I need to do that one of these days!

Just lovely. I'm happy to see your, 'good stuff' being used.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a nice little table setting at home is nicer than a big event elsewhere. Everyone needs to use the best of things, as you are not going to take them with us. Why have something, if you cannot use it. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful, romantic table setting!

ReplyDeleteRomantic,so lovely,BTW,I love Sleepless in Seattle too,Jimmy Derante is great on your playlist.
ReplyDeleteI just "met" you on another blog and am so happy I stopped by. Your blog is wonderful. As I scrolled down, I saw the two Williamsburg Cookbooks. I have them both and use them often. I am a native Virginian and go back (to the Shenandoah Valley) every October. My home is Roanoke. After college, I lived in Alexandria and worked at the Pentagon as a civilian. I live and worked in Hampton for a few years. During those years, my husband and I spent at least two Sundays a month in Williamsburg--reading the Washington Post under a tree and having a light supper at Chownings. Wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Ah! lovely indeed! Love the candelabra with matching vintage crystal glasses.

This is a beautiful and romantic table. I love it. The china pattern is beautiful! It's taking me a while to get through all of the tablescapes. I am glad I kept plodding. I would have hated to miss this.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! The crystal just sparkles in that light. I have a niece in Idaho. It's nice to hear the weather has been beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh my, how elegant!

Everything is GORGEOUS! Maybe I'll have to do the same this weekend!
ReplyDeleteSusan...Your table for two on the deck is beautiful and it looks so romantic. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYour table is gorgeous. Is the pattern of the Haviland called "Apple Blossom?" Your stemware is absolutely magnificent...I'm so glad that you actually pull it out and use rather than let it languish in a cabinet. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteGorgerous table setting Susan!! Love the Limoges china. Everything is so romantic.

That Limoges is gorgeous. I'm a sucker for anything with a pink flower design. Mimi
ReplyDeleteVery romantic. It looks beautiful... Thank you for becoming a follower and leaving a comment the other day. It means a lot to me. Your dog looks a little cutie... My mum always kept Yorkies... she just lost her last one the other month (Roo)... he was a old boy though and as we say in the UK, 'He had a good innings'... We're taking bets, as to when she will get another! Have a great weekend. Lx
