On one of the shelves of my hutch is my mini buffet. I love minis, but don't have a dollhouse yet ... so I love displaying them in mini vignettes within life sized hutches, in bookcases and on table tops. I think it adds a bit of whimsy to a room. Well, that's my excuse anyway!
Be sure to visit Marty to see what everyone else is displaying for this week's Table Top Tuesday.
Yes Bentley, you are exactly right! Sometimes you toss one of your little squeak toys on top of your Mum's tables and inside the hutch too for a bit of whimsy!!
Love,
Susan and Bentley

xoxo to you, too Bentley!
So beautiful little treasure!
ReplyDeleteSusan, I can remember when we lived in VA, there was a family member of my boss who had a beautiful 2 story doll house. She had it all decorated and used it as a night light. It was so gorgeous that I hope you get your doll house one day. I am sure you will love playing with it. Char

Hi Susan...those are so cute. Abuot 13 years ago, I built a huge Victorain doll house. When we moved I gave it to my MOM. She has had fun for years now decorating it per season...you should try to build one. Really was not that hard, took some time, but well worth it.
ReplyDeleteYour whimsy is lovely and Bentley is adorable. I enjoyed your post.

I love minis (the dollhouse will be worked on again this winter!) and I love the way you display them. That is a lovely buffet.

Oh my word, this is so cute. Love the buffet and the little candlesticks and tureen. How fun is that. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling piece! I think every room should have some whimsy tucked somewhere for surprise.
