I've Been Painted

I have painted several things in our cottage white.
I can't paint too much more because ...

My hubby thinks it's too much white!

So I will hold off painting anything else ...
for a while, maybe.

I am joining Cindy's Paint Party

Bentley ~ what do you think, is this too much white?

  1. I love your whites; that rooster is my fave. My husband will always ask me the silliest question--"so---are you going to paint that white?"-- he knows better than to ask. Love your pictures!

  2. White is uch a pretty backdrop for so many colors and textures. I love your chair. A few summers ago I was on a chair kick, painting them white and scattering them through the house. Hubs finally said, "No more chairs!!!"

  5. I wish I could spray paint my entire house white. Inside and out that is. I do have white duck slipcovers in my living room and they are so easy to take care of. Bleach and a clothesline are all you need. I use my neighbors line!!

  6. You can never have enough white-ness around the house ... it's a lot of fun to add color with flowers, ribbons, bows and other accents ... in other words, the sky is the limit when you use white as your basic color!

  8. Enjoying your web page. My husband is not a "white" theme guy. Well our home is 49 yrs. old. dark wood, ugly bathrm. June we remodeled our bath down to studded walls and floors. He gave me free range and what a beautiful bathroom we have now! I went biscuit for tub/ toliet, and inlaid sink with granite counter top. White trim boards and yes! white doors and trim. We did the three bdrms and one and only bathrm. doors white and white trim. Wow what a difference from dark stained wood . He really likes it! Last yr. I had an old antique dresser, I wanted our huge one out of our rm and the smaller and taller one in. So I painted it " cream in your coffee" color. He really liked it. I am not an all white person, I do like certain things white. So gals if you want "white" start out small. I went cream color first and graduated the next yr. to white. It is surprising if a person has the time and money to do just one major change how your home looks so new and refreshing. the kitchen is major time and expense, it will have to wait. Thank you for sharing your "white" nice.
