Trash To Treasure Folding Table

Yes ~ I found another old TV tray.
What to make from this one?

How about a mini ironing board to use when I make
mini quilts.  I painted it a soft green, added a layer of batting to
the top and covered it with a pink and green mini print cotton.
Pretty cute huh?

All set for the next quilt project and then ready to fold up and put
away when I'm done.

Please visit Susan for more makeovers and a very special

Remember to count your blessing every day.
Bentley is thankful that I found him a new mini tweety bird
squeek toy today!

Susan and Bentley

  4. Oh, brilliant! Susan, we have some of these trays and I am going to steal this idea. So much better than dragging out the ironing board.

  5. What a creative idea. I don't quilt, but I love the way this looks.

  6. That's such a good idea - perfect for an upstairs sewing room and much better than hauling the ironing board up the stairs or the bits and pieces to iron down to the laundry room.

  11. Love this! I would like to make one myself! How did you attach the batting and material? Did you just lay the batting on top (did you glue it down or anything?) and then how did you attach the material underneath? Thanks!
    Best,
