Yes ~ I found another old TV tray.
What to make from this one?
How about a mini ironing board to use when I make
mini quilts. I painted it a soft green, added a layer of batting to
the top and covered it with a pink and green mini print cotton.
Pretty cute huh?
All set for the next quilt project and then ready to fold up and put
away when I'm done.

Brilliant idea! I'm showing this to my mother who is constantly ironing little quilts.
ReplyDeleteThat is just darling!! I would keep it open all the time, just because it looks so cute:)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!

Oh, brilliant! Susan, we have some of these trays and I am going to steal this idea. So much better than dragging out the ironing board.

ReplyDeleteWhat a creative idea. I don't quilt, but I love the way this looks.

That's such a good idea - perfect for an upstairs sewing room and much better than hauling the ironing board up the stairs or the bits and pieces to iron down to the laundry room.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Love that fabric print!
ReplyDeleteOh Susan,
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this idea. Great transformation and repurposing project. Have a wonderful new week.

Love this! I would like to make one myself! How did you attach the batting and material? Did you just lay the batting on top (did you glue it down or anything?) and then how did you attach the material underneath? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Gloria
I’m definitely going to make this for my sewing room!! So cute
