Thifty & Vintage Blue Linens

I have always loved vintage linens, but lately they have become a passion.
Look at the sweet scalloping on this hand towel and the darling posies and bow.
Love it!

So much intricate handwork and so much charm for the price.

I love to hunt for these sweet treasures and am always so amazed at
how reasonably priced they are.  It's a great way to add a little bit of charm
to any cottage.

I am joining ~

and

Bentley and I wish you a happy week ahead!

Susan and Bentley

  3. I am totally with you on this. I buy them at estate and yard sales and wash them in Oxi Clean and iron and iron for forever it seems but they are worth the effort.

  5. Hi Susan,
Me too! I love vintage linen. I have many pieces hand stitched by my Grandma. They all are special because someone took the time to carefully sew every stitch. A very pretty post.
    Have a sweet day, Elizabeth

  6. I have a few pillowcases that were hand-stitched by my grandmother. I can't even imagine the hours that went into such special linens,. You're right, sometimes the prices are just rock-bottom low. A gorgeous post. Beautiful pics.
