Up until two days ago, the weather here was in the mid 80's to lower 90's.
Yesterday it started to cool off and now it's quite cool, dark and we are receiving
lots of rain.
Sweater weather is here!
The leaves are starting to turn brilliant yellows, reds and
browns and will be piling up just as they did last year around
my Mom's vintage wrought iron bench circling her maple tree.
I want to just stay cozy in my cottage, make a cup of tea and knit a
sweater. Maybe one for Bentley. It's also good blogging weather ~ so I am
linking up to ...

Bentley would be so cute in a raincoat! When I was little my dog Whiskers had a raincoat and boots, how about some boots too Bentley?

The weather is so odd here! In the morning we're all cold and have to have the heat on, but by noon it's hot and the ac is on. Layers, we're all dressing in layers!

We had a little bit of cooler weather last week, but it is back up in the 80's. I love your Mom's bench. The turning leaves, the chill in the air certainly invite a nice warm cup of tea.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that little sweater is the cutest! We had rain and cold last week but temps in the 70's and sunshine this week. So beautiful with the trees all aglow. It's kind of nice to start making preparations for snuggling in for the season:>)
