In Memory of Leila

My Mother-in-Law Leila passed away on Monday after a long battle
with Alzheimer's.

Tomorrow on November 3rd there will be a memorial service for her.

It would have been her 87th birthday.

She lived in Houston, Texas and will be missed by
her family.

Rest in peace Leila.

In her memory I am linking to these parties because she would have loved blogland.

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  9. My father had Alzheimers for about 10 years. When he passed I was sad but felt a peace that I hadn't had. I knew that he was once again whole and the person he would want to be. It's a sad illness. Sorry for your loss. I hope you can feel the same peace that I did.

  39. Susan, I live outside of Houston. My mother, who lives in NJ also suffers from dementia. It's as if she already gone from us. It's sad to see her like that. Once such a vibrant life.

I'm sorry about your Mother-in-Law, and I know how much you must have wanted to share all of this with her. She lives on in your heart, as vibrant as she ever was.

I love your tablescape. Your china is lovely, and I just think that embroidered linens cheer any space. I love them.

I would like to link you on my blog for next Pink Saturday...would that be alright?

    Peace to you,
    Marianne
