Christmas in Mom's Solarium

Welcome to a sneak peek of the Christmas decorations in my
Mom's solarium.  Don't you love this white faux fur throw on the
wicker chair with the Christmas wreath on top?  That was Mom's
quick decorating touch as I was busy snapping away pics

Everything in Mom's solarium is white with soft pink and green touches,
so we decided to go with a white tree.   Mom does not remember where
she bought this tree, but she is one good shopper because it looks soft and
pretty in her room.

Do you see that sweet little vintage angel?  There are five of them and they
are very old.  Mom had them long before I was born and I always love
seeing them on her tree.

And this adorable little lamb.  He's an oldie too but also a cutie!

These sweet little angels belonged to my Grandmother. They are dressing up the
space under the tree.  You just knew I would have to slip in some pink for

And finally there is my little pink house under the tree.  I knew it would
find a happy home in Mom's solarium.

Thank you for taking a sneak peek.  More next week.

In the meantime I am joining ~

and of course

I bet Bentley will want to curl up on Grandma's white faux fur throw!

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  3. How lovely! I never really considered having a white tree. We always do green, but this is so whimsical, I may just have to add a tree!

  10. Lovely and snuggly, Susan! Love the wee cottage under the tree! Your mom has some very sweet ornies and I'm sure they do bring back many happy memories of Christmases past for you.
My mother has some wonderful ornies all tucked away and I haven't seen them since she sold the homestead. Would love to see them again. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Pink Saturday.

  13. I recognize that darling pink cottage! Lovely! My solarium has our Christmas tree so our 2 yr old/going on 15 yrs old teenager cat doesn't totally trash it...with the door closed so he can't get in! Happy PS!

  19. My family had angels like that since before I was born, too (though not THAT long before) but I have no idea what happened to them. Thank you so much for highlighting them, it was a merry blast from the past. Love the decor.
