I am sending Happy Birthday wishes to our friend Beverly who hosts
Pink Saturday each week.
After celebrating my own birthday just last week I have been thinking about
the changing years. I feel restless and itching for a change.
I have been wondering ~ what should the change be? A haircut? New clothes?
Repaint all the rooms of my house? Plastic surgery?
What, what, what???
Finally I realized that my blog needs a facelift.
I am bored with it. I have not been coming to the page with the
same enthusiasm I once had. So ~ it's to shake things up a bit.
Change is on the wind and Ash Tree Cottage will be getting
a facelift and a new lease on life.
Well Bentley, your Momma feels excited about the
changes ahead.

I have some changes I am working on on my blog too. I am bored with the homemade header and and trying to spiff it up a bit. I can't wait to see what you do.

Susan, I feel the same way with my whole life. My blog background is a couple years old, and I love it, but I'm tired of it so need to hire someone to make me a new snazzy one. at least it might make me feel like blogging more often, which I have not been doing..

ReplyDeleteWell, I enjoyed your header photo as I strolled into your post. I had to check out that little white/pink vase/bowl you had posted in the link photo. Your post photos are beautiful! They'd make some great redos on the blog! I'm curious how you'll change up your blog. I use to change my header photo and background all the time. Recently, being a WordPress blogger, I learned that I can select different photos to go with pages/posts as a header. (Check out the header photos in my page links). I just realized, I should've done that for my Pink Post ... I will off to my photo software and updating my post very shortly. Anyway, as I was saying, I use to change the header photo and background but I've actually had the main photo/background on my blog now for quite some time. Makes me raise my eyebrows! Huh!? Have fun ... it's easier and less expensive than plastic surgery! Although, I did get a new hair style recently. :) Jenn
