Lunch on the Run

This is another re-run.  I finally picked up a new USB cable, so I'll
be back to taking new pics tomorrow.  Until then, here is my Lunch on
the Run.  It seems as though I am always in a hurry.  Too much to do and
never enough time.  I eat a really early breakfast and by lunch time I am
starving.  Lunch is one meal I seldom enjoy eating at a restaurant.

I love lunches that include sliced apples and cheddar cheese.  Or maybe
butternut squash soup with crackers and some fruit.  I'm not always
crazy about what I find on the lunch menu and I really don't like the
fast food options.  So I usually prepare my own and pack it up in a cute
little bag and bring along something to read.

I think these are the cutest little corn on the cob S&P's.

I really loved this thermos, but it was stolen.  I have not been able to
find another.  I certainly do hope that it's new "owner" is taking good
care of it.

I always reserve Ann Rivers Siddons, Mary Kay Andrews and
Elin Hilderbrand for summer reads.  At this time of the year I just
want something easy and fast to read.  What about you?

I am joining ~

Okay Bentley ~ now that we can load up pics on the Mac once again,
let's start snapping.  Will you be my studio assistant?

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  13. Great for your health and much more appetizing to carry a lunch to work! The idea of someone stealing your thermos is most disturbing:( I also love cheese, crackers and grapes or berries. The bag is so pretty with the pretty chintz flowers. Have a happy lunch break!
