Baking in Miniature

My mini worktable is the newest addition to my
mini cottage kitchen.

Now I must confess, although a love to cook, I have
never been much of a baker.  Yet somehow, baking
in miniature just seems like the perfect thing to do.

Stirring up a batch of cookies or muffins in
miniature vintage mixing bowls sounds delightful!

I just love minis so ~ they are my favorites!

I wonder what is in the mini casserole on the oven?

My hubby looked at all of my mini kitchen items and said
"This looks like our own kitchen."
He's right ~ I love a red and white kitchen.  As soon as I am
finished tweaking mine, I will show it to you so that you can see
where my mini inspiration comes from.

That's it for now.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Happily Joining ~

(Pink does start with red you know)

Tina our groomer came yesterday and gave Bentley a
major haircut.  I think it's a bit short, but David thinks it's
really cute.  As soon as I can get Bentley to hold still
(out chasing squirrels) I will take a pic of him.

Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  7. Such a cute little kitchen. My Yorkie got a groom yesterdy as well. They cut her really short leaving just a littl bit around her face. It will grow fast.

  18. How I love your itty bitty kitchen, Susan. My very favorite kitchen color in the world is red and yours is so incredibly sweet. Just look at all those cheery cherries.
Thank you for sharing. I love it all.

ps I read your comment on Claudia's MFThings and totally agree. There's something so impersonal about sharing your pretty photos week after week and never being acknowledged. It's kind of like having someone shake your hand while looking the other way. Kinda sad. :(

  27. Wonderful mini-kitchen and baked goods. Tammy (see above) told me about your mini-kitchen. I had already pinned it to my Pinterest "Miniatures" board! See what a small world this is, thanks to wonderful technology.

  28. That's the cutest red and white kitchen - you did a great job Susan.
I have touches of red in my life-sized kitchen - my casseroles and saute pans. My late mother always said every room should have something red in it. It's true, and then when you take photos, they come out much better!

    Happy St. Patrick's Day.

  39. Gosh Susan that's just so adorable. I recently bought an old, run-down doll's house that looks like a three story Cape Cod salt box. I plan to restore it with very little idea of what I'm doing. Now I want to make a lovely little kitchen in it...lol.
