I have been busy working on my farmhouse fresh mini kitchen, but at the
same time I have been thinking about the look I want for the rest of my
dollhouse. I have decided to go completely romantic.
So ...
once again I have been painting ~ this time I tweaked and antiqued a mini
teacart. All cottages must serve tea you know. Even mini ones!
Don't worry ~ I am working on some full size furniture in my cottage that
I can't wait to show you. I can tweak and antique in life size too. I don't
want you to think that I have turned into "Alice".
Happily Joining ~
Bentley is absolutely furious! The big black cat from across the street
is taunting him from the other side of the gate. This is a daily game between
the two of them and the kitty is quite amused! Bentley on the other hand
will need a nap when he comes back inside.
Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Poor Bentley! Cats can be maddening that way.

Once again love you mini.

I can not believe the detail in those small pieces, adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of a romantic dollhouse. I want to see it!
ReplyDeleteThe teacart is so sweet, it's funny cats do get tired after an encounter with another cat maybe stress makes them sleepy, have a nice nap Bentley.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
Beautiful little tea cart. Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeletePoor Bentley! That silly kitty sure knows how to push his buttons. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet little cart. :)

Completely smitten. You know I love those precious details on the tea cart. I posted more Easter pics of my dollhouse today on the blog. It's fun play...isn't it!!
ReplyDeleteSusan, that tea cart is just gorgeous. What a beautiful job you did painting it. I would like one in real life. Can you imagine. You and I serving tea from such a precious tea cart.
ReplyDeleteBentley ~ don't let that puddy tat bother you. Chico doesn't ~ he just jumps on them and chews their ears ;-)
I've been loving all your doll house stuff. It's going to be adorable. Kind a makes me want to do another dollhouse kitchen. I saw a regular size tea cart just like that at the thrift store a few weeks ago. I wanted to buy it, but had no room for it around here. Love yours!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable....you paint beautifully! Thanks for sharing...:)

Ah, my cats get mad when the neighbours' dogs walk in the field behind our house! The cart is such a darling! Very romantic.
ReplyDeleteThis is soooooo sweet! My daughter has outgrown her beautiful dollhouse and I am thinking about redoing it and hijacking it into my family room addition when it is done. What do you think? Hope you can stop by the enchanted oven.
