Decorating the Cottage Garden

I love to decorate outside in the garden just as much as I do inside.

Every year I tweak my garden rooms and add new touches
or totally redecorate. This is my potting bench from last
year.   Sadly this year I have not done much yet this year but I
am always looking for inspiration.   Here are some ideas I have
saved.  I hope they inspire you as much as they do me.

Places to Sit and Relax ...

Darling sheds where you can store your pots, etc ...

Ideas for flower boxes and containers ...

Last year I added thrift shop plates to one of my flower boxes.

Don't forget the birds ...

And the bling ...
(adding solar powered lights to outdoor chandy)

But most of all don't forget a swing ...

I hope that I have inspired you to have fun decorating your garden.

Happily Joining ~

Bentley ~ are you getting excited about the little trip you and
your momma are going to take?  Shall we tell everyone
about it soon???

Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  5. all of those ideas are lovely!!!! Many not practical for where I live and the weather conditions, climate etc. Kind of a bummer. But we have only lived on this property for not quite 4 years yet, and we have A LOT !!!!!! of work yet to do

  9. Yes, you have inspired me. I have needed new cushions for my porch for a couple of years, now. I just have not found any that I really loved. My resolution, after seeing this blog, is just to find some that I like and get this "done"! Thanks for the "push".

  15. Very inspiring! I really need to work on adding a little something extra to my garden areas. In the past I've focused mostly on the flowers. Now I feel like I have the beds mostly how I like them.
