Christmas in the Breakfast Room

I purchased the Ralph Lauren salad plates several years ago.  I wish that I had
bought more of them because I love the tartans used.  The velvet apples and
pears in the wire tiered basket are very vintage and belong to my Mom.  I love
tartans at any time of the year, but at Christmas they seem especially appropriate.

Bentley has been having the best time playing outside in the
yard close by to grandma while she is gardening.  It's fun to
see them together.

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  2. Beautiful table! Are your mugs American Christmas Tree? I have that pattern in dishes with cups and saucers, but would prefer mugs. I think the pattern is discontinued now -- where did you find them?

  5. This tablescape makes me want to buy one of those kicking machines you see in cartoons to kick myself over and over and over again. When I saw those gorgeous RL salad plates at TJ Maxx a couple of years ago, I made the painful decision not to buy them. I had no idea at the time just how painful that decision would ultimately be. I have wept for those plates ever since...and, of course, haven't seen them anywhere since that fateful day when I left them behind. Oh, woe is me!!! Or should I say, "Woe is us!" since you didn't buy enough, either! :-)

BEAUTIFUL, Susan!!! Merry Christmas to your household from ours! Enjoy!!!

  7. Your table is a delight, warm and friendly just as I like. I have not a single thing plaid except for napkins, but after seeing all the wonderful dishes that have appeared recently, I would like to change that.
