Christmas Toolbox 2014

By now y'all know about my toolbox obsession.  I love to collect them
and manage to decorate them for every holiday.  The minute I see an
empty toolbox my imagination runs wild!

Our gardener, Carlos and I started putting up outdoor lights yesterday and
we ran into all kinds of snags.  I thought I had plenty of lights for the
project but we ran out of lights.  Two circuit breakers clicked off.  Once
because we had too many lights strung and connected to one plug and
another time because we used one of my Daddy's extension cords and
it fizzled.  It's always something.

We worked for two hours with another helper too.  Fortunately Carlos is
a very patient man, but very artistic too.  I knew he would do a great job
because he helped my neighbor put up lights too.   We were quite
pleased with what we had accomplished, but then …

David came home from work and said "looks great so far, but we
need more lights."  So I'll be back at the store picking up more lights.
For those of you living in Texas ~ if there is a power outage ~ it might
be my fault ;-)

Bentley had fun yesterday.  When he wasn't following Carlos
around, he was chasing squirrels.  He did so much squirrel
chasing that he is doubling up on his naps today!

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
