Poofing Feed Sack Pillows

I switched around the pillows on the bench in the breakfast room.  I added two
feed sack pillows and two red check ones.  Just a bit of fun and roos gone wild!

I found this round wood cutting board at Sur la Table so it's not vintage
but I love that it is round.  Here it sits with one of my vintage bowls
filled with apples.

That's my little tweak for the day.  Speaking of tweaks we went to
San Antonio for the weekend and stayed in a lovely hotel right on
the river.  We had a balcony and it is dog friendly so Bentley had a
great time too.  Now that we are able to travel more often, I am
thinking about starting a travel blog that is pet friendly.  Bentley can
let you know which places get a "paws up" from him.  I'll be
creating it soon.

Bentley walked so many miles on the river walk that he is
doing some serious napping today :-)

Susan and Bentley

  1. I really do love those pillows. So bright and welcoming. What a great idea to start a travel blog for people with dogs. It drives me mad here that so many travel places either don't welcome them or make life really difficult by not enclosing gardens or any good walks nearby. Take care xx

    1. Some places actually have designated places where dogs can play freely. Harder to find in urban areas though.

  2. Love your pillows. I'm sure a blog like that would be very beneficial.

    1. Glad you think so. I spend a lot of time researching where I can travel with Bentley and it would be great to share tips with others.

  3. Unfortunately, Bella is too large a dog to travel with. I used to have a little poodle named Michelle and we took her everywhere. But, it was sometimes difficult to find a hotel to stay in with her. I think they have become a little more understanding, don't you? If they want our business, they have to accept our babies!

    1. Yes, I am finding more and more places that accept dogs ~ especially ones under 25 pounds. Some places really cater to the dogs. I never leave home without Bentley and yes, he is my baby.

So glad you were able to get away and Bentley got to go, too! How could anyone resist that cute face!

  8. Your breakfast room looks so inviting!

I would definitely follow a blog about travel with dogs. I always want to take Bubba with me, but it's hard to find places that'll have him.
