Vintage Baby Setting

I am joining Table Top Tuesday over at A Stroll Thru Life. My theme is a vintage baby table setting. I think the vintage baby warming dishes are so sweet. I hope that you enjoy this vintage baby vignette.

Love,

  7. First, I love your front porch header picture. I would just sit there all day.

Your baby setting is gorgeous. I so remember these wonderful pieces. Why in the world didn't I keep the ones my children had. Your set is stunning, what fabulous treasures. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

  12. My goodness! I think the silverware is just like the set I just found at a garage sale and paid $10.00 for the entire set of 8 place settings. It ended up to be sterling silver..the pattern is Prelude. Is that the name of your pattern? Mine is international silver..and it is just lovely.
I love your vintage baby dishes. All of it is just beautiful. Is it from one of your own children?

  14. I'd be surprised if that silverware was Not Prelude! The is "my" silver pattern! (Tho I only have 4 full place settings!) I fell in love with Prelude when I was a teenager and saw an ad in Seventeen magazine. I cut out the photo and it was on my bulletin board till I moved out on my own.

I never had the type of wedding where one "registers" for all the beautiful stemware, china, and silver, so Prelude never made it into my life. I was never willing to buy a full set of silver, that much money could be used for so many things I needed more!

About 5 years ago my husband gave me 4 place settings of Prelude so I finally have lovely silver that can be used but only if there are no more than 2 guests!! LOL!

I still love Prelude though, even after all these years. The 4 sets I do have are absolutely just as lovely as I knew they would be!
