Pink Saturday Gone Postal!

It has been so hot here for the last couple of weeks. The only thing that looks good in my garden right now are the Pink Impatiens around my mail box!

I'm posting a bit early for Pink Saturday because I will be working all day tomorrow ... so it's early to bed for me. While I am busy working, the rest of you can stop by with your morning coffee and visit our friend Beverly for Pink Saturday #? at her popular blog How Sweet the Sound.

Okay Bentley, grab your little teddy and lets get to sleep soon!!

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  3. I just love your mailbox Susan! It hasn't been as hot here as it has been for you folks but still my garden is being strange this year as well. I have always had loads of dill and this year not one. The only thing that thrived were the sunflowers and those are happy accidents from the birds spreading the seed.
Have a super weekend and hugs to Bentley!

  4. What a pretty mailbox you have! The impatiens set it off so well. I'm afraid they would shrivel in my garden at this point. The only happy flowers I have are periwinkles now.

  6. I wish I could have a lovely mailbox as you do, sugar. Ours are all alike in our subdivision and the standard postal kind. Not pretty at all!

  7. Susan,
I love it when you "go postal." Your impatients look wonderful! Don't work too hard today. I am watching San Antonio with Errol Flynn and Alexis Smith, as I type. She is wearing a huge white hat with cherries on the top. Who had hats like that in the old west??? Only in the movies, love it! The movie was made in 1945 and in color! Dan would be proud I am watching something in color, lol.

  11. Hi Susan and Bentley-I know what you mean about the flowers....I'm so sick of watering them because it seems hopeless. But it's amazing-one cooler day and they all come alive. Your impatience look lovely, and thankyou for visiting my blog!

  12. I wonder why I didn't think to get any impatiens? Might have something still blooming besides purslane and portulaca if I had gotten some.

  13. That's nthe only flower I have luck with. But they are beautiful esp. the double ones. I noticed in my grass I had some springing up just on their own. Isn't that weird.
