It's Thursdsay ~ time for another Vintage Thingie! Here is my vintage clothespin apron. It's great to wear when I am out back hanging laundry on the line. It has one large pocket all the way across the apron so that I can stash lots of clothespins inside. And ...
It's cute too, which goes a long way with me! I laundered some of my vintage linens today. Here they are hanging outside in the hot late afternoon Idaho sun. At 2700 feet elevation, the sun is really intense. These linens will be completely dry in less than 1 hour!! I better not spend too much time out here.
Stop by and visit Suzanne, The Colorado Lady, for Vintage Thingie Thursday. I hope the weather is a bit cooler where she lives. It's supposed to be 102 here tomorrow!
No walkies tomorrow Bentley. We will be taking it easy in the shade!!
Love,
Susan and Bentley

102 degrees...hmmm that is about 40 degrees Celsius...YUCK! You poor things! I hope that you find somewhere nice and cool to relax!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
Aaaaah, that's adorable. I needed one of those this week when we unearthed a stash of old colored clothespins. We ended up giving them to the thrift store, sweetpea. If I had that apron I would have hung it and put them in the pocket. Darling...

Bentley, no chasing squirrels today. Too hot for you :(
Looks like you have a wonderful collection of linens. I love the clothes pin apron. Thanks for sharing, Sherry
ReplyDeleteWe used one of those cloths pin aprons for years. However, it did not look as nice as yours. I miss not having the old fashion cloths lines.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most charming things Susan, I love every post of yours! Your clothespin apron is the cutest.
ReplyDeleteHappy VTT and wishing you and Bentley a respite from the heat,
Sally
Love it Susan! Stay cool! I think me and the boys are gonna have to get the kiddie pool out today! :)

My Mum used to have a clothes pin apron, shades of the 50's!
ReplyDeleteBentley looks a lot like one of our son's Yorkies.
PS, my car thermometer read 119 yesterday & it's supposed to be at least 113 today-& humid, I'm staying in, watching gorgeous baby GS & do a spot of quilting!!
I have never seen an apron like that!! I will have to keep an eye out for one of those...that is so cute! Your linens look wonderful hanging on the line! Have a great VTT!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great apron.
ReplyDeleteI love your clothespin apron. I collect vintage aprons myself. I don't actually wear them, but I do display them in my kitchen. I also make vintage inspired aprons. I have several designed just like your clothespin apron, but haven't listed them on Etsy yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little apron - I've never seen one with the clothespin motif!
