Putting My Life Into Focus

I received a new camera for Christmas.  I have started taking pics and am trying to
get used to all the features.  I never had any features with my old one.  It was very
antiquated and although I love vintage ~ new technology has it's place in my world
too.

Hopefully this camera will bring my life around the cottage into better focus.

I'll be able to take movies too ~ so plan on viewing the antics of Bentley
in the coming months.  He is quite a little ham.

I think I will need a tripod too.  Oh and it always helps ...

to read the instructions!  While I do that ... please visit ~

Bentley ~ are you camera ready?

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

Congrats on having the latest technology in camera's..I love mine..i didnt want to go the digital route but was not liking any of my pictures from the pocket size digitals..I know it's not easy getting the doggies to sit still while we push all these extra buttons but it will be fun to try..Looking forward to seeing great photo's...

  9. Thought of you today. Hubby and I stopped in a miniatures store on the way home from the mountains. So many cute things, it reminded me of your posts on miniatures. Here is the website.

  10. I hope you are enjoying your camera. I just bought a Canon Rebel and although I never liked reading manuals or learning techy things, I have been studying this and really getting to know all the features. It's actually fun!

    Jane
PS...can't wait to see videos of Bentley!

  15. Love the Blue Willow! And of course, the pups! Reading the instruction book is always the most important, and the least done, part of using a new camera! When in doubt, read the instructions, or at least that's what they say!! LOL

  16. You know, you're right. Vintage stuff is great. How about the times of Kodak Instamatics? Don't I wish I'd held onto it! But, wouldn't want to take photos with that one! Enjoy your new camera and looking forward to seeing the ham in video! (Bentley) We had a golden who was a ham about her photos too. Our current rescue (found us) was deathly afraid of the camera until only recently. He doesn't ham around - he quits when the camera comes out. :( Thanks, Jenn

  17. I do believe you have mastered your new camera. I could use one as well. It used to do so many things, but since I dropped it, only makes pictures.
