If I could give you anything ~ it would be the gift of time.
The time to enjoy life's true pleasures.
To treasure happy memories of your family and old and dear friends.
To take the time to enjoy a beautiful sunset.
To keep your creativity alive.
The time to explore all the wonders this world has to offer.
The time to remember all of the pets you have ever loved.
The time to reflect and remember the spirit that lives within.
The time to enjoy a sunny afternoon walk on a beautiful
autumn day. And the time to remember all of your blessings.
Joining ~
Bentley and I wish you a wonderful weekend. Remember to
keep the victims of hurricane Sandy in your prayers.
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

ReplyDeleteSusan, this post touched my heart. A beautiful sentiment. xo
ReplyDeleteWhoa, what a great post. And a funny thing. I don't know where your picture of the teens came from, but at first glance I thought I was looking at myself on the front row. Long hair and all, when I was young ;-D Which one is you?? Of course WE don't look like that now!! Thanks for the touching post.

I am the one with bangs, my chin resting on my hands. I lost all of my old photos in a house fire. A friend sent me this one. A great group of smart, talented and fun girls.

ReplyDeletePink at my page.
Have a lovely weekend.
Susan, what a lovely post! So much to be thankful for. So of my friends have decided to write something that they are thankful for every day this month.
ReplyDeleteI read that you lost all your photos in a house fire! I hope you were not home at the time, and that no one was injured! My aunt and her 5 young children survived an early morning house fire many years ago. The house was a total loss, but thankfully they were all saved. They were saved by my aunts mini poodle Fifi, she alerted them to the fire! Fifi survived too!
Have a lovely weekend!
One of my patients and I just had that discussion this week. Like we were told when we were little and it is so true
ReplyDeleteOh, Dear...these are all, by far, the most beloved gifts.
