Come For Tea at the Farmhouse Mini Table

My new farmhouse kitchen table and chairs have arrived for
my mini kitchen.  I have been wanting these for a long time.

The chairs arrived with just a clear finish, but I had to tweak them,
so I painted them red.  What can I say?  It's the designer in me.
Or shall I say the mini designer???

The postman (Harald, Bentley's best friend) delivered them just
after I finished making this little apron for my kitchen.  It was
so much fun to make.  I know I will be making many more!

And here is my new tea set.  I just realized that I can start
creating mini tablescapes now.  Oh dear, that means more dishes!
My poor hubby will be sighing for sure.

Happily Joining ~

Bentley ~ did you have a nice visit with Harald?
And you know, Harald will probably be delivering
mini dishes from time to time.  Soften the blow to Daddy
okay?

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  6. This is adorable! Maybe that's what I need to do, collect dishes in miniature. Sure would take up a whole lot less space.

Great to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.

Bentley ~ run around when the postman comes, that way Daddy won't see what is coming through the door. I know you have your Mommy's back ~

  13. Oh Susan . . . this is truly SPECIAL!!! I love the way you have brought the entire set together with red and white! Painting the chair red was perfect! Did you come up with the pattern for the mini apron and hot mitt? I hand-stitch little dresses for 7" dolls and I really must try this little apron! Thank you so much for your inspiring blogs!

  15. This is just precious! My great aunt (who I adored) had a white kitchen with red accents, and this reminds me so much of it! Hope you can stop by the enchanted oven to say hi.

  16. Love your cherry china!!! I just made some cherry napkins and put them on Etsy. Unfortunately they didn't all come out the same exact size and I hope the buyer won't be disappointed. I've had the material for several years hoping I would come across something with cherries on it, like vintage glasses or just anything, but never did. Did I say I love your cherry china? So sweet and cheerful. I think that's what I like about cherries and all that bright red. Perks up the spirit.
