It's been a stormy afternoon. Rain, high winds and hail.
But it's cozy and comfy in my little cottage so I am inviting
you over for some biscuits and sherry.
While the weather might not feel like spring, I think this
little table does.
This Royal Staffordshire pattern makes me think of a spring
garden.
Little pink birds are holding down some vintage hankies we'll
be using as napkins.
Dainty and feminine.
Thanks for stopping by! Bentley and I so love
your visits.
Happily Joining ~
Bentley ~ aren't you glad that Momma let you back inside
before the hail started? Momma likes to keep you safe.
Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Hi Susan! Oh, this is such a sweet setting! I love the pinkness and your pretty dishes. The little wreath is so sweet too. Now those little birdie napkin rings are the cutest things.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well.

Shelia ;)
Susan, this is just the cutest setting. I love your quilts. Family heirlooms? The sweet plant is so at home with the darling little birds. The dishes are really wonderful. I really love the center flowers with the big rose. Every time I see my sweet yellow bird in my kitchen, I think of you and cute Bentley! xo marlis
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table and china. I love the pink potted topiary too.
ReplyDeleteSue, So ladylike! What a pretty setting!
ReplyDeleteSusan, this is the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. Love the last shot with the quilts peeking through the topiary. '-)

ReplyDeleteSusan, your table looks so pretty and dainty and spring like. Love that first pic with the quilt over the chair. All very lovely. How you liking it, Bentley?..Happy Wednesday to you both..Judy
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet table Susan. I'm a sucker for pretty pink floral dishes, so you know I love it all. Too bad the weather doesn't feel like spring yet, but I am glad you are trying to hurry it along with your lovely table. It seems so strange for Easter to be right around the color, and yet it still feels like winter. It's so nice to see the pastel colors. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely feels like spring. :) I love the dishes and the beautiful topiary.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, feminine setting! And where did you find PINK birds? So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is this table setting. So soft and romantic. Love the topiary and your napkins are so pretty ~ stay safe and warm. Finally, a warm up here in Ontario ~ Yay~!
ReplyDeleteHi, Susan! Sorry about the bad weather! I guess that's one of those down sides of Spring! :-( I hope the skies have since cleared and that sunshine is abundant for your Thursday! (I'm sure Bentley is glad you got him inside in time, too!!!) Your table is so feminine and pretty!!! I love pink, and I love Spring, so this is really a treat! The little wreath in the pot is so cute! I'm thinking about making a few of those, but I just can't get my creative hat on straight these days! Have a sunshiny weekend!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and dainty. Hope I am not too late. My bus just pulled into the station :)

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Susan.
ReplyDeleteCute idea, using the hankies as napkins. I did a little spring decorating tonight after everyone went to bed. It's getting pinker in here all the time! :) This week's Homemaking Linkup is up and I would love to have you join, if you haven’t already.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Mrs. Sarah Coller
Hi, Susan and Bentley...such a nice way to spend the day inside when it's rainy....beautiful little setting.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so cheerful and cozy! Love your quilt and that wonderful pink pottery to hold your plant. It reminds me that it's time to dig into my stash of pink pottery and get some things going for this spring! I hope your weather gets better soon!
