A Cottage Bird

I found this cute little cottage bird at one of my favorite shops
a couple of years ago.  I was immediately smitten.

The strangest thing has been happening to me ...

I think I am morphing into my grandmother!
(she loved little birds like this)
Anyway, I just wanted to show you one of my favorite
things and to wish you all a happy weekend!

Happily Joining ~

Bentley ~ I think I will put on an apron and make a cup of tea
before we start cleaning the cottage.  What do you think Bentley,
am I turning into my grandma???

Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  5. Susan:
It is a very strange process in life - one day you will do like me and look in the mirror and go Oh my - I have become Grandmaw. I am 64 and I NEVER DREAMED I would say this! I do love flowers because of her! Your bird is darling!

  6. Susan, you make me smile. It is very strange to say things and do things like your grandmother and mother. Each day brings a new surprise as we morph into our relatives who had a deep impression on our lives. I think that's a good thing. It really keeps me close to my mom and my grandma.
    Have a great weekend ~

  9. I often think we may skip a generation. My mum absolutely hates all needlecraft, crochet, knitting and yet I can't live without it. I was taught by my Nan and Grandma and now they are gone I hope I am doing them proud! Your bird is adorable...I want one! Take care. Chel

  18. What a sweet little bird. Today, I couldn't help but notice all the tiny little birds flitting by and perching in the three birch trees outside my kitchen window. Spring....Ahh...It can't arrive too soon.
    Have a wonderful weekend, Susan.
