Spring Has Arrived on the Front Porch

We finally have spring weather here in Idaho.  Time to tweak
the front porch.  Up until now it has been so cold that I  just
kept the porch looking like winter and did not change much
from Christmas as you can see here ...

This was my winter "lodge" look, but now ...

gone are the tartans and the evergreens and it's all light  and sunny.

I found this little creamer and sugar bowl at a thrift shop and filled them
with Johnny Jump Ups.

Brought back the birdcage and added a bunny on top
of the old chippy wash stand.

Happily Joining ~

It's early Monday morning.  Bentley had a very fun
weekend.  Lot's of running in the garden chasing squirrels.
Naps in the sunshine and Easter dinner at grandma's house.
As I am writing this post, he is curled up in his little bed
sound asleep.  So cute!

Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  6. Oh Susan I am so jealous. We had beautiful weather here yesterday and poof ~ gone. A little chilly here today, although the sun is shining. I have not started my front porch yet, but I did remove the cross country skis and my little sled and skates ~ I can hardly wait to do up my front porch. Your porch looks just darling and I love, love, love Johnny Jump ups~!

The porch is so sweet looking. Living in North Florida I envy some cool weather. I enjoyed your precious Easter Hello. I sent a prayer to you this morning and I hope it helps.

  13. Your porch is looking the place to hang out. You've done a wonderful job getting all ready for spring. I adore Johnny Jumpups, I have since I was a little girl. They are the first flower that I can remember knowing the name of. Mom use to plant them and it was always fun to see where they would pop up in the garden.
