Last Saturday I stopped at The Compound, which is an event venue with
several barns.
We drove past this wonderfully restored 1946 Dodge pick-up on the way
in to the center. The passengers have already gone inside, but there was
a man, a woman and a Yorkie. More about that later.
That truck looks so perfect parked out front. The owners of The Compound
should lease it out during the show ;-)
There are all sorts of wonderful decorating accents inside. Not old, but
rather new made to look old. Still wonderful though.
If you look very closely ~ do you see a little Yorkie peeking around the
basket to watch what I am doing? That's Gidget! And that's Gidget's
mama in the straw hat. I had a nice little chat with both of them. They
get to ride off in that old 1946 Dodge. I envy them :-)

Oh! Great pic of Gidget. :-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't she cute! I hope to see Gidget again very soon.
DeleteOH lots of eye candy here...the sale looks amazing! And Gidget and her truck are pretty fun, too!
ReplyDeleteRound Top is a wonderful experience!
DeleteWe were just up at Round Top this week. Our friend, Michele Eigler, of Ecofab Arts was selling her beautiful glass flowers at the Lone Star Antiques. I didn't get to this location, but I did find a wonderful metal rabbit dressed in a black suit and red, sitting reading a book and looking stunning from one of the vendors across the street. What a great day,
ReplyDeleteYour find sounds charming!
