A Texas Fall Potting Shed

In my side yard, behind the garage is my potting shed.  The shed
is in it's own little private area and is fenced off from the rest of
our large yard.  It has become my personal getaway place where
I can be free to create whatever atmosphere I desire.

It has been especially fun giving this spot it's own fall touches ....

from the wreath on the door ....

to the tiny potted succulents, birdhouses and mini gourds.

Come on inside.

It's filled with old furniture, baskets and more.  Old gardening
tools, seed packets and birdcages.

There is a fall filled armoire.

A very vintage and chippy white wicker table set with
fall dishes.

My old and weathered chest that used to be on my front porch
back in Idaho.

Lots of baskets, pots and more.  Sun hats hanging at the
ready to keep the hot Texas sun off our faces.

Fall vignettes ....

And cowgirl boots of course.  This is Texas after all!

It's a special place that I love and I am so pleased to
share it with you.  Thank you so much for stopping by!
There are more fall homes to visit again today that you will not want
to miss.

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  17. Hi Susan ... oh my, what an enjoyable place to play. "She Shed", "play house" or "'potting shed" ... whatever you want to call it ... it is adorable. Maybe you need a little day bed or a comfy chair to hide away, read a book or take a nap. Thanks for sharing.

  18. Susan,
Everyone needs a potting shed to decorate, or not. So many of the things in your Fall shed would be in mine also. :) My mom had a detached garage in which she stored her little red wagon she used for gardening along with all her gardening tools and supplies. Fertilizer, potting soil, insecticides, extra pots, lawn chairs, etc... She wasn't much into decorating, but she was a fantastic gardner. Her yard was the envy of her little town, and her vegetable garden produced the best-tasting tomatoes you have ever had. Thanks for sharing your special potting shed.
