Happy Halloween Y'All!

Happy Halloween Y'All!  I have been having fun decorating the
miniature English cottage kitchen for Halloween.  The really fun thing
about holiday miniature decorating is that everything stores in little
boxes and it's soooo much easier to clean up.

Are you all set for Halloween at your house???  David bought a big
bag of candy at Costco last week.  We don't usually get many visitors,
and the kids who show up last get the biggest handful of candy.

For some reason, it seems to rain here every Halloween.  Parents end
up driving the kids house to house.  David is coming home early from
work, so his first job will be sweeping off the porch and sidewalk because
our live oaks have been dropping acorns for days.  The walk was just
cleaned off, and it's nearly covered again.  I don't want anyone slipping on
a wet acorn!

I have been watching the Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel.
They are always a bit corny, but I love them anyway.  I am adamant
about not decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but those
movies are making me so anxious to do it!  Does that happen to
you too?

Have a fun and safe evening!

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  1. Hi Susan,

I LOVE your miniature English cottage kitchen!! I'm just amazed at all the details! It even has a little AGA stove -- wow! How do you find all the realistic furniture and accessories? You've done a great job with this. :)

    Happy Halloween to you, too!

    Hugs,

  2. Hi Susan!
I happened upon your blog by one of your miniature kitchen pictures that was on Pinterest.
I too enjoy working with miniatures.
...and those Hallmark movies! Want to live in those magical towns of Christmas! I know I won't make it till after Thanksgiving to decorate-sorry Thanksgiving, but it's just more time to enjoy Christmas!

    Have a nice evening!

  3. Yes! I have the itch to decorate for Christmas also but I am going to be strong and hold off until after thanksgiving! I watch the hallmark movies too even though the plot is so obvious but it’s clean and the sets are pretty. Your miniatures are so amazing. You must have a lot of fun with them. 😍🤩🎄

  4. I love your miniature vignettes. We always spend the last part of Thanksgiving Day starting to bring out some of the Christmas decorations. It helps to work off all that turkey dinner!!
