I love to read. You may often find me re-reading the classics, or a current notable. Sometimes there is just nothing better than a cozy mystery. I have read a few of Laura Child's mysteries. Her Tea Shop Mysteries are light and fun, perfect reading on a rainy afternoon with a cup of tea.
I hope that you enjoyed my little bit of self indulgence. Please stop by Rhondi's beautiful blog and visit all of the Tuesday Tea Party participants. Until next time, Bentley and I will be snuggled up on the sofa. I'll be enjoying my cup of tea and my book, while Bentley will be doing what he does best - cuddling!
Love,
Susan and Bentley

I love Laura Childs, too -- she has a new one out this week! And there is nothing better with tea than a tea mystery. Love your china as well!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a good book, a cup of tea and a nice little furry friend to cuddle, bliss.

Hi Susan
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you joined the tea party! I've read a couple of books by Laura Childs and enjoyed them too. That is a nice cozy spot you have to enjoy a cup of tea.
Hugs, Rhondi
Oh, this is MY kind of tea party!
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the note. Looks like we could be sisters, our interests are very much alike! I love old movies and collect on Carole Lombard. I have done some deocrating, other than my own homes. Not too much call for it where I live, but I do think I would love to do it as a careet. I will be back often to visit.
Best,
Robin
I'm here with my green tea. Lovely vignette. I just returned from the library and realize now I must go back for the Laura Child's book.
ReplyDeleteHappy Cuddling!

I've never read any of those books but think I may have to pick one up. You have a pretty spot for tea sipping and reading.
ReplyDeleteHow beautifully everything coordinates - your tea cup, the plate on display, and your lamp. Lovely spot to read a book. laurie
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look up that book. I'm always looking for interesting reads for our book club, and we have not done a mystery yet. Stop by my blog if you have a minute, I'm doing a little giveaway.
ReplyDeleteLooks like
ReplyDeletea lovely way to spend a day! I'll have to look up some books by that author, never heard of her before but if you reccomend her then I will listen!
If you have a little list of some favorite books that you would like to share with me, I'd appreciate it! I will be picking next months book. (there are 4 of us and we take turns, so three times I year I pick the book.)
ReplyDeleteNothing more delightful than a good book, a furry companion to snuggle with, and a hot beverage in a cozy spot. Perfection!
