When I moved into my cottage, I gave it a name immediately ~
just like the cottages in England are named. Of course I had
to have a sign ~ so I painted this one above and it has
been hanging proudly on our front porch for many years.
Now I am offering a fabulous give~away so that you too can

Those signs are beautiful! Our cottage is "The Selkie" - I love cottage names!
ReplyDeleteOh Susan, I did the same thing when we bought our little cottage. Sweet Bee Cottage it became and Sweet Bee Cottage it will stay. The homes in Carmel, CA also have names and that inspired me to name our house. Of course I also name my cars, my computers, etc. But your house - your home - must have a name. I sure hope I win one of these signs because my Sweet Bee Cottage sign I painted when we first moved in here has faded away to oblivion. Thanks for this opportunity and happy blogiversary!
