I don't know if Beverly will post a Pink Saturday or not given the threat of
Hurricane Irene ... but here are a few pink pics to cheer everyone up
while we say Goodnight to Irene and send her off to sea away
from the coast.
I remember riding out Hurricane Alicia in Houston and it was not any
fun at all.
So let's say our prayers and send Irene away to keep all of our
friends on the east coast safe.
I do believe in prayer!
Bentley and I wish everyone a happy and SAFE weekend!
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Susan, I've been through several hurricanes on the Texas Gulf and my thoughts and prayers are with all who are dealing with the threat of Irene.
ReplyDeleteI've been MIA of late so took some time to scroll down through the posts I'd missed. I'm sad to hear about your friend. Take care ~ sarah
Praying with you, we're right in the path for tomorrow afternoon/evening here in Central VA.

Appropriate music considering what is coming our way here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Everyone is out buying gasoline today. We live about 70 miles from the Atlantic Ocean so we may get the rain, wind and flooding from Hurricane Irene. Luckily we sit high so we don't have to worry about flooding at our house. I may remove some of the porch furniture or at least stack it closer to the house. Cute post!
ReplyDeleteHPS!
ReplyDeleteLovely post! I also hope this hurricane turns away from the East Coast.

Thanks for the good thoughts. Irene is coming straight for us here in Massachusetts.
ReplyDeleteSusan (and Bentley),
ReplyDeleteAfraid she's heading our way. Hopefully the warnings and the planning will help mitigate the damage. Not used to them in the north.
Your pinks are lovely and Happy Pink Saturday.

Thank you Susan! We had tons of rain and lots of wind. Thankfully where we live in MA it wasn't too bad, compared to other parts of MA.
