Our Christmas tree arrived yesterday. I am procrastinating a bit about
putting up the lights because it is my least favorite job. So in the
meantime while I mentally prepare myself for the challenge ahead, I
decided to start decorating Mom's old room.
I pulled out her Christmas angel and added a few more touches ...
I have a little white tree for this room too and it will be so much easier
to put the lights on it because it's not 8 feet tall like the one in the living
room. Guess where I'll be tonight ~ on a ladder :-)
Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Your mom's room looks beautiful. Be careful on that ladder xo Laura

Bentley, Has Momma made you Christmas treats, yet???
What a beautiful angel! Can't wait to see your tree. Be careful on the ladder, Bentley needs his mama!
ReplyDeleteLights are a pain in the gizzard!!!
ReplyDeleteYour angel is so beautiful....my Mom was a Santa person...Last evening, I finished putting all of her Santa's in her hutch which now lives with me. It looks beautiful and makes me smile because it's like she was looking over my shoulder :^)
Blessings of the season to you and yours,
J
What a pretty angel! She really looks the pure definition of the word "angelic."
ReplyDeleteI haven't had to put lights on a tree in a long, long time. When we stopped doing fresh trees, I went immediately into the pre-lit fauxs and never looked back! I do have a constant reminder of the pain involved when I have to put lights on wreaths, though. Ugh! I have to wear an "Ov Glove" to get through it!!! I suppose there are worse things, though...like having to put it all on an 8-FT. TREE!!! :-) :-) :-)
Have a good weekend, Susan! Good luck!
