I'm in a very reflective mood this morning as I sit on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin. Wow, another year older! In many ways, it's been a tough year. I have watched my Daddy's physical decline and his death last month. A death and now a birthday in one month's time has caused me to reflect on time, dreams and goals.
The older I get, the faster time seems to fly. So today, I am focusing on my dreams and my goals. Are you?
Bentley has great focus. He goes after what he wants despite any perceived barriers. He's also very sweet and kind to everyone. Bentley ~ you are a good role model!!

ReplyDeleteOh I had to sit and listen for a moment. One of my favorite songs, Moonglow. Ahhhhh. Susan, I know exactly what you mean. I feel like I have been like that the last 3-4 months! You gotta just enjoy every minute of life because it starts flying by the older you get. I don't like that..but hey maybe it teaches us to appreciate everything a little more. I also have spent a good part of the last 2-3 years reflecting on what I really want out of my life and I did decide on a few things but there are lots of other areas I am still confused about.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about getting older and time going by so fast. I have also been thinking alot about my dreams and goals since last summer when my hubby was told that he has a weak heart...made me stop and think about what is really important as we enter this stage of our lifes.
